Fulvous Whistling Ducks by Vic Kirkman
Tupelo and oils on a custom made base of Honduras Mahoghany found native to the habitat of the subject. This pair of realistic Fulvous Whistling Ducks are full decorative lifesize and competed in the World Pairs Competition held at Ocean City, MD. The pair were in high contention among many entries. They hold several Best of Show awards and currently are loaned to the NC Museum of History for their Art Decoy exhibit to represent the contemporary decoy. These will be available for shipment in August 2008.
